Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) is a CIA operative who interrogates a Russian, while suddenly she was accused of being a Russian spy. To prove her loyalty to the country she uses skill to avoid being captive. Swearing an oath to duty, honor for her country, she will do whatever it takes to clean her name and staying one step ahead of her colleagues.
