A Bass guitarist named Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) finally found the girl girl of his dream with Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). One day he discovers the consequence of getting the girl love, unraveling Ramona's past, knowing that she has seven evil ex-boyfriend that almost takes control of her life and now is going to kill him.
Finding true love is difficult thats why he has to prove it, by duelling and defeating all of the seven evil ex-boyfriend. Now, Scott faces all of them to finally win Ramona's heart, a league of evil from infamous skateboarder to vegan rockstar that he must vanquish. He has to do all of these to settle his love to Ramona before it really become game over.
